I have some news to share…..

Part of my Lost Faces series is currently being exhibited at Gallery 44 in Toronto for their annual Proof exhibit, this year being Proof 17. The exhibit is up till August 7 where you can also see Christophe Jivraj, Meryl McMaster, Karen Zalamea and Roger Proulx‘s work – great artists to check out! Also there’s an article about the exhibit in Canadian Art.

Lost Faces was also nominated for the Arles Festival Voies Off prize and was selected for the closing ceremonies projection For Intérieur curated by Michel Poivert.

The above image Untitled (found 16mm and Lachute Market) 2009 from my Lost Faces series is now up on the Daniel Cooney Emerging Artist Auction. The print is an archival Inkjet print on Hahnemuhle Rag Paper, signed, dated and numbered “1/10″ on the reverse.

The edgy Montreal based Urbania Magazine has featured Eight Seconds: The Quebec Rodeos in their photo-documentary section on their website.

The look of the site and the blog got a complete face lift. I’ve edited down some works so some series have been moved to Flickr, if ever you want to see them. The exciting part of this change is that I’ve added some new work to the site. The Last Sacrifice of Rite, Reverend Grandpapa Ben Lemay and Lost Faces are series that you might have seen bits of on the blog but you can find a more concrete body of work on my works page.

Dreaming

File Magazine recently featured my series “Quiet Passage”. The images were taken from a trip to Spain and Morocco. The images are influenced by a short nomadic lifestyle, wandering through marvelous yet sometimes fragile places. These are images that link the solitude and simpleness that surrounds the everyday.
