I think this is a moose print. They like to eat the top of the bog vegetation, but it must get tricky when they start sinking!  We were walking safely on the board walk.

It’s been a while, and I’m writing this with a mild tone of sarcasm because it’s been a real long time. Oh well, now the film is half developed and maybe now I can get back on track. This is a shot from my, somewhat recent, trip to Newfoundland.

A little fire keeping us warm while we were setting up the maple trees for maple syrup. It was so good.

This is a project that I started working on at the end of fall last year. The Last Sacrifice of Rite, looks at Christianity, it’s priests and churches in rural areas in the province of Quebec. I will be resuming my work and research this summer. I would actually love to be working on it now but there are many reasons why I just can’t. One big reason is that the smaller village churches close for the winter because it’s too expensive to heat. Secondly, because these days it’s difficult for me to be very mobile since I totaled my car a couple of months ago. This image was taken in a small village north-west from Montreal called St-Emile-de-Suffolk.

Also today, I’ve recentely joined the Still-Dancing group. It’s a wonderful photography community with great talent. Check out their site and blog. I’m excited and thrilled to be added to such a fine list of photographers.

This is part of a new project that i’m working on. Priests working in small villages in rural Quebec.
That rainy day mass was canceled because the church was too cold. In the winter the church is closed till the weather gets warmer because it’s too expensive to keep the church heated.
