Lovely shot, I don’t quite know how you get these great tones but the overall look of the image is great. The priest has probably popped out so he can have a cigarette, here in Oz you can’t smoke anywhere inside – well, at home is OK I s’pose but the cig police may come knocking any time, way things are going – and pubs and clubs are allowed to devote a small area for those who need a drag, I used to be one but stopped smoking about 6 years ago, aversion therapy, ugh, can’t stand smokers now, not like I crave passive smoke or whatever they call it, hate it. Back to the picture. Lots of folk keep yelling at me “the verticals are wrong !!” “the horizon is sloping !!” as if the world was coming to an end or I was going to take any notice, it’s my picture after all and I usually like a sloping horizon when it’s done well. So that’s a plus for me, manipulating the verticals on a close shot like this is wrong, very false and stoopid, IMHO.

You keep secrets from us – the priest’s face is like the (in)famous “Scream” and what is that dark rectangle on the left of the main arch? I like the handrails, they are a nice touch. Interesting façade. Lovely image,, pulls me in.

PS – like the aspect ratio.
