A temporary resting place
They are often found along the side of small highways, those that are poorly lit and easy to drive at excessive speeds. They are found in ditches on narrow and windy country roads. They are only noticeable during the day and even more prevalent when they have recently been erected, decorated with pictures and fresh bouquets of flowers.
