Encounters
The interiors of dwellings can say a lot about the people who reside there. To me, it reveals the owners as they are. In entering a house, we have the impression that the occupant’s identity is slowly revealed. Their belongings and objects that are present, the way the rooms are divided, the types of objects that we can find, the structure of forms and colours. All this might seems irrelevant at first glance, though to me this is how the subjects that reside in the spaces reveal their true identity. In essence, our daily spaces are extensions of our personalities and this project is, in sort, a portrait of the people that reside in the respected spaces.
